WHEREAS As a citizen of Glendora, his kindness, generosity and public spirit are a Legend in Glendora, and;
WHEREAS Mike Rubel has created from an original citrus packing house and its surrounding properties a unique world known as Rubel Farms, and;
WHEREAS Rubel Farms stands in value to the community as a preserve of antiques, artifacts, memorabilia, and remembrances of yesterday, and;
WHEREAS Mike Rubel has served as a gracious host to thousands of visitors to Rubel Farms, including friends, neighbors, service clubs, educational organizations, newspapers, television, philanthropic groups and seekers of the uncommon, and;
WHEREAS he has shown unselfish devotion to Glendora and its residents through his work at Rubel Farms;
NOW THEREFORE, I, Guy A. Williams Jr., Mayor of the City of Glendora, do hereby recognize with appreciation Mike Rubel's outstanding service and contributions to the betterment of Glendora;
